CURRENT MARKER OF THE CONTENT OF THE MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY OF THE HEAD OF A GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATION INSTITUTION REGARDING THE PROVISION OF QUALITY PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION IN A LYCEUM

Abstract

The article examines modern approaches to the management activities of the head of a general secondary education institution in the context of ensuring high-quality specialized education in a lyceum. In the article the author reveals the essence, functions, tasks and tools of organizing the educational process according to already approved profiles. The presented materials include scientific and methodological support, practical experience in implementing and innovative technologies of profile training, supplemented by a case study of project activities, going beyond the standard profiles. Key aspects of organizing education for secondary school students are highlighted, which embody the principle of a personality-oriented approach and create the most optimal conditions for professional self-determination and future self-realization of applicants. Innovative ways of modernizing educational activities are described as a means of creating a favorable environment in an educational institution to ensure high-quality specialized training. The legal framework for the organization of specialized training and the internal system for ensuring the quality of education is analyzed. The main challenges faced by heads of educational institutions when implementing specialized training are highlighted. The key competencies of a modern manager of an educational institution and strategic directions of activity for ensuring the quality of specialized education are revealed. The content of the publication proves the need for balanced management decisions by the head of an academic institution, which should be based on a systematic analysis of the educational process, monitoring the quality of education, and taking into account the individual educational trajectories of education seekers in the context of specialized education. Particular attention is paid to the issues of forming an educational environment, effective use of resources, stakeholder involvement, and the implementation of innovative approaches in the organization of specialized education. A model of management activity aimed at improving the quality of specialized education in the lyceum, taking into account modern educational trends and societal requirements, is proposed.
