ASSESSMENT OF ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY AND COMPETITIVENESS OF AGRARIAN ENTERPRISES

The article examines the assessment of economic efficiency and competitiveness of agricultural enterprises. Methodological principles for assessing enterprise management are formed. A list of indicators for assessing economic efficiency and competitiveness of enterprises is proposed. The dynamics of economic efficiency indicators of the studied agricultural enterprises for 2019-2023 is analyzed. During this period, instability of economic efficiency was observed at agricultural enterprises. Among the studied agricultural enterprises, the most economically efficient was identified as PE "Names of Kalashnyka", where the only problem was a partial decrease in operating efficiency, which is not so significant compared to other agricultural enterprises. At the same time, LLC "Elevator "Clean Krynytsia" was identified as the least economically efficient, where there was a decrease in return on capital, labor productivity, asset turnover ratio and profitability threshold during the studied period. Accordingly, this agricultural enterprise needs to improve management and production processes to overcome existing problems. The dynamics of competitiveness indicators of the studied agricultural enterprises for 2019-2023 were analyzed. Similarly to the indicators of economic efficiency, competitiveness indicators are also unstable, which indicates the influence of external factors, in particular, the competitive environment, on the activities of agricultural enterprises. The most competitive agricultural enterprise was PE "Name of Kalashnik", which was the only one to increase its own market share in Ukraine and the marketability of products. Accordingly, the other two studied agricultural enterprises need to implement measures to increase competitiveness. Based on the study, directions for increasing economic efficiency were identified, which are aimed at improving individual components of the activities of agricultural enterprises. Among them, the development of production, technologies, management, quality, personnel and relationships were highlighted. At the same time, each component provides a list of specific measures to increase the economic efficiency of agricultural enterprises.
